Guidelines on Mandatory COVID-19 Swab Test for ALL Patients, Companions and Visitors
We shall be implementing an updated guideline on mandatory COVID-19 RT-PCR SWAB TEST for Patients and Companions and Visitors effective April 1, 2022. This new directive shall ensure St. Luke's Medical Center as a safe place for all as the number of COVID-19 cases decrease and in response to a lower alert level (1 and 2) set by the government.
I. RT-PCR SWAB TESTING UPDATES
RT-PCR swab for ALL patients, companions, and visitors will NO longer be required except patients
who are SYMPTOMATIC or have had HIGH-RISK EXPOSURE within the last 14 days.
II. CONTACT TRACING PROTOCOL
If patients are exposed to COVID-19, please be reminded of the most recent contact tracing protocols, as mandated by the Inter-Agency Task Force and Department of Health memorandum as of April 1, 2022.
